Greycon is inviting applications for 2 .NET developers to join the distributed team that is developing our GreyconMill manufacturing execution system. Greycon produces world-class optimisation-based software primarily in the paper, plastic film and metals industries with customers in 41 countries.

The Greycon application portfolio uses predominantly C# / VB in a Microsoft .NET environment with a test-driven methodology. Emphasis on software quality and long-term maintainability are important, since the lifetime of our customer installations often spans decades.

The ideal candidate must have a good knowledge of .Net framework, coding experience in C# and VB.Net and a good understanding of test-driven development. A good level of English is necessary.

Knowledge in the following fields would be desirable:

•                  SQL Server development including LINQ to SQL
•                  Multithreading and concurrency
•                  Crystal Reports

The placement will be in our Kifissia office in Athens.

Your profile:

You will have proven experience in .NET, be able to produce high-quality code efficiently and are comfortable working in a distributed environment.

You will have high marks from a reputable university in IT / software engineering and ideally you will have 3-5 years’ work experience.

Job conditions:

·        1+ month training in our offices in London and/or Montevideo
·        6 months’ probation
·        after 1 year of employment, participation in the Greycon profit-related pay scheme
